By purchasing services or using this website, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

 

1. Services

The editor provides professional video editing services, including but not limited to trimming, color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and formatting for digital platforms. Services and deliverables vary based on the selected package or custom quote.

 

2. Pricing & Payments

• All prices listed are starting prices unless otherwise stated.

• Payment is required upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Custom quotes are valid for 7 days from the date issued.

• Prices are locked once payment is completed.

 

3. Demo Policy

 A demo edit option is available:

• A demo edit option may be purchased prior to ordering a full package or custom quote.

• The demo edit costs $10 USD and consists of a short, watermarked preview provided solely for evaluating editing style and quality.

• Demo edits are non-refundable and grant no usage or distribution rights.

• If the client proceeds with a full editing package, the $10 demo fee will be credited toward the final project price. If no package is purchased, the demo fee remains non-refundable.

 

4. Revisions

• Each package includes a limited number of revisions as stated in the package description or quote.

• A “revision” refers to minor changes (timing, cuts, text updates, font changes, etc.).

• Major changes or requests outside the original scope may incur additional fees (such as additional scenes that extend the video length beyond the agreed amount, additional or more complex effects than originally agreed, etc.).

• Revisions must be requested within 7 days of draft delivery.

• No refunds of additional service fees are provided after the final revision has been delivered.

5. Refund Policy

• Due to the nature of digital services, all sales are final once work has begun.

• No refunds will be issued after the final revision is delivered, regardless of usage or publication.

• Demo edits are non-refundable unless credited toward a purchased package.

• Refunds may be issued only at the editor’s sole discretion in cases where services cannot be completed, delivery is unreasonably delayed due to an error by the editor, or verified fraudulent payment activity occurs.

• If a full refund is issued, all content rights remain with the editor, and the client may not publish, distribute, or monetize any delivered materials.

• Partial refunds, if granted, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and do not alter ownership rights unless explicitly stated in writing by the editor.

 

6. Turnaround Time

• Estimated turnaround times are provided at the time of purchase or quote.

• Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee, the cost of which relies on several factors including but not limited to: Time of expected delivery, length of video, quality of product, features included, etc.

• Delays caused by late client feedback or missing assets are not the responsibility of the editor, and are not valid causes for a full/partial refund or discount.

 

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide all necessary assets (footage, audio, branding) in a timely manner (within 7 days of their purchase)

• Ensure they have the legal right to use all submitted materials

• Review drafts promptly and provide clear communication and feedback

 

8. Ownership & Usage Rights

• Full usage rights to the final edited video are granted only after full payment is received.

• If payment is retracted, fraudulent, or invalidated in any way at any time after receiving the content, the content rights are returned to the editor, and the editor may submit a takedown request or otherwise enforce ownership rights over the publicized content. 

• Demo edits and unpaid drafts may not be published, distributed, or monetized.

• The editor reserves the right to display completed work in their portfolio and promotional materials unless confidentiality is requested in writing.

• A confidentiality request may incur an additional fee.

If licensed or copyrighted media is used in the client’s content without proper authorization due to the editor’s error, the editor may offer a partial refund not exceeding 35%, or provide an additional revision to remove or replace the content. If such a revision is completed, a 5% goodwill refund may be issued.

 

9. Project Window

• Projects must be completed within 30 days of purchase unless otherwise agreed; Packages have their own estimated window of delivery which is only active once the necessary resources and information are provided by the client via email or Discord.

• Inactive projects may be closed after this period. If the client does not provide the necessary resources and information to complete their request within the 30 day window, any refund determination is therefore made at the editor’s sole discretion. However, if the client is unable to send the resources due to an error by the website, google drive, or non client network issues, a full refund may be issued.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

The editor is not responsible for:

• Performance outcomes (views, engagement, revenue)

• Platform-related issues (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)

• Loss of data or profits

• Monetization issues related to copyright where the client provided or requested non-licensed media

Liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

 

 

11. Client Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

The editor reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services to any client who violates these Terms of Service. This includes, but is not limited to, misuse of demo edits, unauthorized use of unpaid or watermarked content, chargeback abuse, harassment, or failure to comply with payment terms.

In such cases, the client may be permanently restricted from accessing future services. Any restriction decision does not obligate the editor to issue a refund for services already rendered.

 

12. Changes to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
